AEP Energy is responsible for purchasing power that is added to the power grid in an amount equivalent to your business’ or home’s electricity use. Electricity customers served by AEP Energy are supplied by power purchased from local regional transmission organizations. AEP Energy reports fuel sources and emissions data from each local regional transmission organization to its customers, allowing customers to compare data in their state and utility territory.
