November 15, 2013

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 13, 2013 – AEP Energy, a competitive retail electric service provider, has entered into a partnership with the Arena District Athletic Club to launch Energize Your Health, a program that allows Central Ohioans to save money on their electricity supply and their athletic club membership.

“Through this kind of unique partnership, AEP Energy is able to provide value to customers by lowering their electricity costs and offering additional benefits,” said Frank Willson, vice president of marketing for AEP Energy.

Program participants will receive a price of 5.99 cents per kilowatt-hour for their electric supply through the May 2014 billing cycle. The program also provides a $25 membership credit for new and existing members of the Arena District Athletic Club and a free, co-branded performance T-shirt. Customers can sign up for the program through January 2014.

More information on the program is available at AEPenergy.com/ArenaAthletic.
