Greg is responsible for unregulated wholesale marketing, asset management and retail operations. His wholesale team markets physical and financial power and natural gas and structures products for load-serving entities in ERCOT, PJM, SPP and MISO.
He manages the unregulated asset business, which includes a share of the Oklaunion coal-fired power plant, the Desert Sky and Trent Mesa wind farms and leases on the Southwest Mesa and South Trent wind farms.
His retail team, AEP Energy, is responsible for selling electricity and related products to all end-use customer classes, including residential, commercial and industrial customers.
Hall was named to his current position in October 2006; prior to that, held positions of increasing responsibility with the Commercial Operations group. From November 2002 to September 2006, he was vice president – energy marketing. From January 2000 through November 2002, he was promoted from originator to manager to director of energy marketing. Previous to this work, he was the first energy associate with AEP Energy Services, from 1998 to 2000. He began his career at AEP as a research associate, AEP Service Corporation in 1997.
He holds a master of arts degree in geography from The Ohio State University, and a bachelor of science degree in geography from Brigham Young University.
Jim is responsible for the growth and profitability of the retail energy business, and manages and improves the company’s information technology, pricing, risk management, customer service, accounting, billing, credit, collections, financial reporting/analysis, strategic planning, new market entry, and all other operational activities.
Prior to joining AEP Energy, Jim enjoyed an extensive career with Motorola, Inc., first as an Electrical Engineer and ultimately as Senior Director of Sales, where he was responsible for all commercial and operational activities to launch mobile devices with the largest carrier in North America.
Jim holds a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification, a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Scott is responsible for leading the expansion of the energy efficiency business, deployment of energy management products and services, and development of strong energy analytics capabilities to serve customers.
With over 15 years in the energy industry, Scott brings an extensive breadth and depth of experience having held numerous leadership positions with several energy companies such as NiSource, AEP, Integrys Energy Services, and Solargenix Energy.
Scott holds an MBA from Indiana University and received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. In addition, Scott is a LEED Accredited Professional.
Joyce is an accomplished human resources executive with 15 years of progressive experience in organizational development, change management, benefits & compensation, mergers & acquisitions, employee communications and cultural initiatives. Complementing this expertise are exceptional inter-personal/relationship-building skills, impassioned leadership, an aptitude for mission-driven communications and proven ability to guide organizations through tremendous change, with an overriding focus on producing results by aligning employee performance to organizational objectives.
Joyce holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Millikin University.
George currently maintains primary responsibility for valuation, structuring, analytics, and risk management related to all of the Company’s retail energy contracting activities, as well as market operations and sales support functions. At AEP Energy, George has also been responsible for guiding the company’s product development strategy and execution, as well as direct development and roll out of new products and services, including demand response, advanced energy analytics, and natural gas.
George has extensive experience in the retail energy industry, with management roles in pricing, structuring, portfolio management, start up operations, and sales for DTE Energy Trading, Inc., Nordic Energy Services (Chicago), Integrys Energy Services, Premier Energy Marketing (Ann Arbor, MI), and Nordic Energy Marketing (Ann Arbor, MI).
George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit.
Mike is responsible for IT strategy and execution, information security, governance processes, and infrastructure delivery across the company.
Prior to joining AEP Energy Mike led an internal technology infrastructure team at Bank One Corporation and then helped build a technology startup to profitability and eventual acquisition by The Hartford Financial Services Group in 2008. Following the sale he served as a Vice President of IT in the Retirement Services division of The Hartford and subsequently MassMutual Financial Group.
Mike is a graduate of BYU and earned a master’s degree in history from The Ohio State University.
